At R.A.C.H.E.L. CARES, we believe every senior deserves to age with dignity, independence, and compassion. Our nonprofit organization was founded to ensure that older adults have access to safe, reliable transportation and caring support when they need it most.

Many seniors miss doctor’s appointments, grocery shopping, pharmacy visits, and personal care services simply because they lack dependable transportation. We are committed to changing that.

Our Story

R.A.C.H.E.L. CARES was born from a deeply personal experience.

After more than 33 years in property management, our founder dedicated her career to serving seniors in independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities. During that time, she met an elderly resident living with Alzheimer’s disease who had no family, no support system, and was struggling to navigate everyday life.

Rather than looking away, she chose to help.

That experience revealed how many seniors quietly face barriers that prevent them from accessing basic necessities and healthcare. It inspired the creation of R.A.C.H.E.L. CARES, a nonprofit dedicated to providing compassionate transportation and support for older adults.

Today, our mission continues by helping seniors remain connected to their healthcare providers, their communities, and their independence.
